The challenge

York is a popular tourist destination with high demand for taxis from train stations, hotels and tourist attractions. York Cars needed a website that could capture this tourist traffic alongside their regular local customer base, presenting their service clearly to visitors unfamiliar with the area.

Our solution

We built a WordPress website with a dual focus: familiar and reassuring for local residents, and welcoming and informative for tourists. Key tourist destinations and routes are highlighted, alongside standard local service information. The site is optimised for mobile as most tourist searches happen on phones.
