The challenge
The client wanted to create a local discovery platform for Manchester, helping residents find local businesses, services and venues. The platform needed to support multiple business categories, allow business owners to claim and manage listings, and provide a good search and filter experience for users.
Our solution
We built a comprehensive WordPress directory site with category-based organisation, search functionality and individual business listing pages. The platform supports multiple categories from restaurants and services to local events. A submission system allows business owners to add their own listings, creating a self-sustaining directory that grows organically.
